On April 25, defendant Trump will argue to the Supreme Court that he shouldn’t face prosecution for his January 6th insurrection attempt. His rationale: because he was President. We disagree. Presidents should not given a free pass for attempting to overthrow our Democracy. Period. Ever.

•Public Opinion: Most US Americans believe Trump must face the music for his actions on January 6th, regardless of his former role.
